My name is Max Walters and I am the managing partner at Walters and Kondrasheff. I have been a practicing CPA for more than forty years and have been in Santa Cruz since 1983.

As of January 1, 2025, I work on a very limited schedule and am not taking on new clients.  The other two partners, Tracey Hall and Krystal Weaver will be handling new clients.  Tracey is the tax manager and takes the lead on personal income taxes, trusts and fiduciaries.  Krystal has the lead with corporate, non-profit and pass-through entities as well as the audits of non-profit organizations.  Take a look at their contact information!  They are very good at what they do!

The following is my profile of my prior years and is what I get involved with on my limited schedule.

I enjoy my tax practice which includes planning as well as tax preparation for individuals, corporations and partnerships. I am in charge of many of our not-for-profit audits and also specialize in tax preparation and audits of Homeowners Associations.
